We want to do work that is interesting and enjoyable, and to be open and honest in all we do. We take the time to learn what our clients need, and we tell them about our progress via regular project meetings. We are transparent in explaining our methods, what we know from the evidence and what we don’t know. We ask all our clients for feedback and improve by listening to what they tell us.

We want to make a positive contribution to the communities we work in. We are registered supporters of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. We provide research and support to charities and social enterprises at discounted rates. We give staff time off to volunteer. We donate a percentage of our annual profits to local good causes.
Many of our projects involve asking people for their data and feedback. We treat all personal data shared with us as if it were our own personal data. We are registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner's Office and are Cyber Essentials accredited. david morris
Our team is led by David Morris, Research Director and formerly Head of Evaluation at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. David specialises in multi-year evaluations of skills and training, careers advice and guidance, and business support. David regularly delivers training for officers and policymakers on research and evaluation techniques.
matthew langin
David is supported by Matthew Langin, our Research Manager. Matthew is an experienced researcher, with extensive experience working with organisations in the public and private sectors. His areas of current work include assessment of multi-year evaluations of skills, training, careers advice and guidance and business support programmes.
john morris
John is a Research Manager with extensive experience working on business development and marketing projects, with a focus on the professional services sector. His recent work has included leading evaluations of both public and private sector investment projects and data and impact analysis modelling. He also has experience of client relationship management and coordinating client feedback projects.
