Evaluating Growth Company training provision
Over four years we have been evaluating three European Social Fund programmes the Growth Company has delivered in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and South Yorkshire. We have analysed programme data, surveyed beneficiaries, and consulted with training providers, employers, and stakeholders.
The three programmes have a combined budget of £80m and have supported nearly 50,000 people.
Our reports have given the Growth Company confidence that they and their supply chain have delivered high quality, impactful support. The Growth Company knows more about how different groups of learners benefit from their support. We have developed insights on how learners experience and benefit from online learning compared to face-to-face learning. The evaluations will inform Greater Manchester's thinking and strategy for how to use the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver training and employability support.
